No Transcription Appearing

Symptoms: Recording starts but no text appears

Solutions:

1. Check connection status indicator
   • Green = Connected (should work)
   • Yellow = Connecting (wait a moment)

   • Red = Disconnected (check connection)

     Verify internet connection

   • Check other websites load
   • Try refreshing the page

   • Restart recording

     Check microphone permissions

   • Browser should prompt for permission
   • Check browser settings > Privacy > Microphone

   • Grant permission if denied

     Test microphone

   • Go to Settings > Microphone Test
   • Verify microphone works

   • Check audio levels

     Try different browser

   • Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge
   • Some browsers handle audio differently

Poor Transcription Quality

Symptoms: Transcription is inaccurate or missing words

Solutions:

1. Speak clearly and at moderate pace
2. Minimize background noise
3. Move closer to microphone
4. Check microphone quality
5. Ensure good internet connection
6. Try pausing and resuming

Transcription Stops Mid-Sentence

Symptoms: Transcription stops updating during recording

Solutions:

1. Check connection status
2. Verify internet is still connected
3. Try pausing and resuming
4. Restart recording if needed
5. Check browser console for errors
6. Refresh page and resume draft
