Deleting Patients
Process
- Navigate to Patients page
- Find the patient to delete
- Click the Delete icon (trash)
- Confirm deletion in the dialog
Safety Features
- Confirmation dialog prevents accidental deletion
- Associated consultations are handled appropriately
- Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone
- Only administrators can delete patients
What Happens to Data
When a patient is deleted:
- Patient record is removed
- Associated consultations may be:
- Deleted (cascade delete)
- Orphaned (consultations remain but patient link removed)
- Generated documents may be affected
- Warning: This action cannot be undone
